Below you will find information on the proposed Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex. We are sharing this information because Lake Country Lacrosse will be able to use this complex and believe that it will strengthen participation in the game of Lacrosse.

Dear Family and Friends of Lacrosse and Field Hockey:
We are excited to announce that a committee of coaches and community members has been formed to promote, give of their time, and raise funds for a Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex on the school district property north of highway K. The total cost of the project is $3.1 million dollars and will include two turf fields, scoreboards, a ticket booth, parking lot, lights, fencing, a concession stand, bathrooms, storage, infrastructure, and home bleachers on the main field. The Building and Grounds Committee of the school board has reviewed and approved the request from the group to seek private funding for the project. The district’s Master Plan, developed in collaboration with Miron Construction and Eppstein Uhen Architects, dedicates the property north of highway K to athletic field development.
This fund raising campaign is being promoted and supported in conjunction with both the Field Hockey and Lacrosse youth and high school programs. The project is dependent on private funding and the committee has established a deadline of December 19, 2014 for all fundraising to be completed. If the $3.1 million is raised the proposed project will be advanced to the School Board for final consideration and approval to move forward with the project. If the fund raising efforts fail to raise all of the necessary funding for the project all monetary donations will be returned to the donors prior to January 1, 2015 in consideration of any tax implications.
We appreciate your support for this project. The athletic complex will support the continued growth of our Field Hockey and Lacrosse programs, at both the youth and high school levels.
