Function:
The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors. Subject to the direction and mandate of the Board, the President shall be in charge of the property and affairs of LCL; shall see that the resolutions and directives of the Board are carried into effect except in those instances in which that general responsibility is assigned to some other person by the Board; shall appoint all chairpersons of committees; and, in general, shall discharge all duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors. Except in those instances in which the authority to execute is expressly delegated to another officer or agent of LCL, or a different mode of execution is expressly prescribed by the Board or these bylaws, the President may execute for LCL any contracts, deeds, mortgages, bonds, or other instruments which the Board has authorized to be executed; the President may accomplish such execution either individually or with any other officer thereunto authorized by the Board, according to the requirements of the form or the instrument.

In the absence of the President or in the event of the President's inability to act, the Vice President or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice President in the order designated or elected shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. The Vice President shall perform such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors. The Vice President may be designated as President-elect and may be considered in training during the term of office, automatically to assume the office of President the following year

The Secretary shall keep minutes of the meetings of the membership, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee; see that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these bylaws and as required by law; oversee the corporation's records; keep a register of the names and addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of each Director and member; and in general, perform all duties incident to the office of Secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President or Board of Directors.

Function:
The Treasurer shall be the principal financial officer of LCL and shall oversee all financial transactions. The Treasurer shall see that adequate financial books and records are instituted and maintained for LCLCby use of electronic QuickBooks; shall be responsible for custody of all funds and securities of LCL; shall ensure that all payments due by LCL are paid; shall ensure that all monies due and payable to LCLare received, that receipts are given, and that these monies are deposited in the name of LCL in such banks or other depositaries as shall be selected by the Board of Directors. The Treasurer shall be responsible for submittal of an annual financial statement and furnish accounting on all financial matters to the Board of Directors at its regular meetings and shall present a financial statement to the members at their meetings. The Treasurer shall perform all other duties incident to the office of Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors. If required by the Board of Directors, the Treasurer shall give a bond for the faithful discharge of duties in such sum and with such surety or sureties as the Board of Directors shall determine.

Function:
Shall set and guide the strategy for communications, website, and collateral to consistently articulate the Lake Country Lacrosse organization. The Communication Director is a board level position which will require attendance once a month.
Responsibilities:
Create online content that engages the both parents and players.
Put communications vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness for the sport of Lacrosse.
Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, and Lake Country Lacrosse website
Coordinate webpage maintenance–ensure that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) is posted regularly.
Act as a single point of contact for club communications.
Director at Large, Volunteers

Function |
The Volunteer Director supervises volunteers and provides direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer functions within the organization. The Volunteer Director is a board level position that will require attendance once a month.
Responsibilities |
Develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the organization.
Maintain Volunteer Service Descriptions for each volunteer assignment.
Conduct and/or arrange for volunteer orientation and training.
Maintain accurate records and provide timely statistical and activity reports on volunteer participation.
Evaluate all aspects of volunteer programs to ensure effectiveness and to recommend changes as appropriate.
Work with the Marketing/Communication Director(s) to publicize opportunities for volunteers.
Act as a single point of contact for volunteer communications.
